Zhongke India has called its participation in the recently concluded Pamex 2023 “very successful”. Zhongke India displayed and demonstrated rigid and semi-rigid boxes, high-speed lamination machines, paper carry bags, foiling and die cutting machines at the expo.

Pamex 2023 has been a great success for us. Again, we’ve created some excitement. The visitors were delighted to see 10 live demonstrations and discuss their needs. We sold all the machines showcased at the exhibition and signed contracts for a couple of more,” said Pooja Rajpal of Zhongke India.

One of the deals involved Vadodara based cardboard printer and converter VS Packaging. They bought a Wenhong WH1050SS automated high-speed die cutting machine.

Zhongke India’s Wenhong WH1050SS automatic, high-speed die cutting machine is the 5th one VS Packaging purchased from them.

VS Packaging, established in 2010, prints and converts master cartons and monocartons for Indian and international markets. The company owns a 6-color UV Heidelberg full-loaded press in its press department. It has now three die-cutters, and two folder gluers.

Rajpal said Pamex is a good platform for meeting new clients and catching up with the ones already in place. Pamex is India’s most professional show for the printing & packaging industry. The show was well organized and presented. The footfall was incredible. We saw customers from across India and overseas as well,” she said.

Daily, the impact, resilience and growth of responsible packing in a large region is chronicled. Packaging South Asia

Packaging South Asian, a B2B multi-channel publication and digital platform, is always looking forward to new beginnings and renewal. The 16-year old print monthly based in New Delhi has become a digital platform.
The Indian and Asian packaging industries have shown their commitment to growth and progress. In the last three years, the Indian and Asian packaging industry has shown its resilience.

As we present our publishing plan for 2023, India’s real GDP growth for the financial year ending 31 March 2023 will reach 6.3%. In the last three years, growth in the packaging industry has outpaced GDP growth, even after inflation is taken into account.

Over the past three-year period, India has seen a 33% increase in its capacity to produce flexible films. We expect to add another 33% of capacity between 2023 and 2025. The capacity of monocartons, corrugated packaging, aseptic liquid packaging and labels has also grown. The numbers are positive for most of the economies in the region – our platform increasingly reaches and influences these.

Even with the disruptions in supply chains, the high prices of raw materials, and the challenges of sustainable and responsible packaging, India and Asia have significant room to grow. Our context and coverage engulf the entire packaging supply chain – from concept to shelf and further – to waste collection and recycling. Brand owners, product managers and raw material suppliers are our target audiences. We also include packaging designers, converters, and recycling.

In an admittedly fragmented and textured terrain, this is the right time to plan your participation and marketing support communication – in our impactful and highly targeted business platform. Tell us your ideas
