Daily, the impact, resilience and growth of responsible packing in a large region is chronicled. Packaging South Asia

Packaging South Asia, a multi-channel B2B platform and publication with a digital component, is constantly aware of the possibility of new beginnings. The 16-year old print monthly based in New Delhi has become a digital platform.
Demonstrated its commitment to growth and development. Over the past three decades, the Indian packaging and Asian packaging industries have demonstrated resilience.

As we present our publishing plan for 2023, India’s real GDP growth for the financial year ending 31 March 2023 will reach 6.3%. Even after adjusting for inflation, the packaging industry’s growth exceeded that of the GDP in each of the past three financial years.

In the last three years, India’s capacity to manufacture flexible films has increased by 33 percent. In 2023-2025, we anticipate a further 33% increase in capacity. Monocartons and corrugated packaging as well as labels, liquid packaging with anaesthetic properties, and other forms of packaging have all seen similar growth. The numbers are positive for most of the economies in the region – our platform increasingly reaches and influences these.

Packaging in India and Asia has significant growth potential, despite the disruptions to supply chains, the high prices of raw materials, and the challenge for sustainable and responsible packaging. Our context and coverage engulf the entire packaging supply chain – from concept to shelf and further – to waste collection and recycling. Our target audience includes brand owners, product managers and raw material suppliers. We also include packaging designers, converters and recyclers.

In an admittedly fragmented and textured terrain, this is the right time to plan your participation and marketing support communication – in our impactful and highly targeted business platform. Tell us your ideas
