An investigation into 3D-printed gun components led Waterloo regional police to a Cambridge house on Monday.
In a media launch, they mentioned a search warrant was carried out at a residence on an unnamed road.
The WRPS Medication and Firearms Unit seized 3D printer handgun receivers, handgun components, prohibited gadgets and a prohibited weapon.
A 32-year-old man, who has not been recognized, was charged with possession of a prohibited weapon, unauthorized possession of a weapon, possession of a prohibited machine, possession of laptop information (associated to 3D-printed firearms), and manufacturing a firearm.
Police mentioned there have been no public security considerations on this case.
