Keypoint Intelligence Director of Lab Services EMEA/Asia, David Sweetnam“We were thrilled to test the latest models of the TrueVIS Series which reproduced stunning, vivid graphics with photographic-quality even at high speed. The results exceeded our expectation.”

Sweetnam said that the criteria for consideration of a BLI Pick Award in 2024 were stricter than previous years. In response to the constantly evolving state of technology innovation, we’ve established stricter criteria this year for evaluations and Pick Award qualification. The AP-640, LG-640, and XP-640 were rigorously and thoroughly evaluated for print, usability and productivity. They achieved excellent results.

Sweetnam concluded, “The AP-640 Resin print passed our tests with flying colours, demonstrating a high level of performance for color gamuts, color-matching outcomes, image quality and stable wallpaper consistency. The largest color gamut of any latex/resin print tested so far, the accuracy with which it reproduced Pantone colors, and the reproducibility that was very stable over time were all impressive. 30m Wallpaper printing test. “We believe that this newly introduced printer will be a strong competitor against its competitors.”

“The LG-640UV printer was evaluated for two ink configurations – dual-CMYK and CMYKReOrWhWh,” Sweetnam pointed out. Sweetnam said that the dual-CMYK is a printer with a high level of productivity and a wide color gamut. It also produces high quality output. The other model, with CMYKReOrWhWh Ink, is designed for maximum flexibility and to deliver high-quality output in the best print mode. Roland DG is expanding its competitive advantage in the UV Market and the LG Series is a sure competitor.
