Brummen (The Netherlands): GSE will present its ink dispensing software and management solutions for standardizing the colour quality and cutting down waste in label and packaging print at Labelexpo Southeast Asia at Techno Global Graphics’ booth (stand C4, 9-11 Feb 2023, BITEC Bangkok, Thailand).

“Good management of ink and colour-making processes is vital for lessening the impact of rising operating costs that label printers are facing in this tough trading climate,” says Onno Deen, area sales manager, GSE.

“Ink dispensing systems, for preparing accurate brand shades in precise quantities, give you repeatable colour quality on-demand, without wasteful remakes – dramatically cutting ink consumption and material loss. Additionally, software programs are automating just about every ink-related processes in the print workflow, from purchasing to reusing inks, to batch tracing – cutting costs even further and potentially shortening lead-times.”

GSE’s program of modular Colorsat ink dispensers cut out waste, errors and delay in colour preparation – potentially reducing ink usage by up to 30%. They are tailored to volume and application needs – including from label, flexible packaging, carton and corrugated board printing.

GSE Colorsat ink cartridges can be used for UV, LED, low-migration and solvent ink sets. You can add accessories such as heaters and agitators to enhance the ink conditioning. The modular design of these units allows for easy adaptation to new or modified inks.

Techno Global Graphics’ stand featured the Techno Colorsat FCS manual dispenser. It is ideal for small-scale dispensing.

GSE Ink manager software streamlines processes
GSE Ink manager software provides solutions for automating and streamlining ink processes including managing ‘press return’ inks, creating new colours, performing colour corrections, real-time stock level and job cost reporting, tracking of inks through the supply chain and data exchange with ERP systems. GSE Hazard symbol software, which automatically creates warning labels for safe handling of containers of spot colours in the printer’s house, is the latest addition.

Techno Global Graphics, based in Bangkok, Thailand, is a partner in GSE’s global distribution network – providing support and application expertise, to ensure customers gain best value out of their ink logistics investment through its complete life cycle.
