Go Beyond the Frame with Fujifilm’s New INSTAX SQUARE LINK Smartphone Printer

VALHALLA, N.Y. – FUJIFILM North American Corporation’s Imaging Division today announced the launch its FUJIFILM INSTAX LINK Smartphone Printer (Square Link). Square Link is the latest addition in the Link series. It creates instant prints of INSTAX square format at 1.5x speed.1 It is the same size as its INSTAX MINI peers. 

Square Link has a number of innovative features to encourage creativity. Square Link, like all products from the INSTAX LINK Smartphone printer range, includes a variety frame templates, digital stickers and print modes that allow image makers to increase creativity using the free, downloadable INSTAX LINK App.

Square Link is available through the INSTAX LINK App.   

AR (Augmented reality) Print: 
Square Link lets users add Augmented Reality features, such as special effects, text, images and background colors to photos they view on their Smartphones. A QR code printed on the INSTAX photograph unlocks the augmented-reality content. Users can view the content on their print and around it by simply scanning the code using their Smartphone. 

INSTAX Connect
Using Square Link App, the INSTAX Connect function allows users to digitally share INSTAX images by selecting an image from a Smartphone, adding text and/or effects and then sending it to any device connected (i.e. Another Smartphone, Tablet, etc. You can add text to your images and receive text responses directly on the image. Square Link users who have also received the image can print a copy with or without the text. 

You can customize your INSTAX prints using Image Modes, Design Frames and Digital Stickers
Square Link is a INSTAX LINK Smartphone printing product that includes a range of digital stickers, frame templates and print mode options. This allows the image maker to enhance the Smartphone image in a creative way. Users can choose between two print mode options – INSTAX-Rich Mode for deep, enhanced colors and INSTAX-Natural Mode for a more classic look. The ability to add artistic filters and adjust the brightness, contrast, saturation of smartphone images can be used to enhance them. Square Link users can also combine up to nine Smartphone photos on one INSTAX print using the collage feature.  

Lightweight portability and speed 
Compact, lightweight, and finished with a striped texture, Square Link transfers an image from the user’s Smartphone and commences printing in about 12 seconds, supports continuous printing, and is capable of printing about 100 INSTAX prints per charge seamlessly via Bluetooth. Images are created in approximately 90 seconds.

Square Link will be offered in Ash White and Midnight Green and is expected to be available for purchase on or about November 16, 2022 at a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $139.95 USD and $179.99 CAD.
