Daily, the impact, resilience and growth of responsible packing in a large region is chronicled. Packaging South Asia

Packaging South Asian, a B2B multi-channel publication and digital platform, is always looking forward to new beginnings and renewing itself. Its 16 year-old print magazine, based out of New Delhi, India, has
Demonstrated its commitment to progress. Over the past three decades, the Indian packaging and Asian packaging industries have demonstrated resilience.

As we present our publishing plan for 2023, India’s real GDP growth for the financial year ending 31 March 2023 will reach 6.3%. Even after inflation, the growth of the packaging industry in recent years has been higher than that of GDP.

Over the last three year, India has seen a 33% increase in its capacity to produce flexible film. We expect to add another 33% of capacity between 2023 and 2025. Monocartons and corrugated cartons, aseptic packaging for liquids, labels, and corrugated have all seen similar growth. The numbers are positive for most of the economies in the region – our platform increasingly reaches and influences these.

Even with the disruptions in supply chains, the high prices of raw materials, and the challenges of sustainable and responsible packaging, India and Asia have significant room to grow. Our context and coverage engulf the entire packaging supply chain – from concept to shelf and further – to waste collection and recycling. Our target audience includes brand owners, product manager, raw material suppliers and packaging designers, converters and recyclers.

In an admittedly fragmented and textured terrain, this is the right time to plan your participation and marketing support communication – in our impactful and highly targeted business platform. Tell us your ideas
