LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Vegas Golden Knights are the new champions of hockey, and since the takeover of the Stanley Cup, new merchandise has been rolling out for the past 24 hours.
KTNV introduced Nu World Graphics as the custom shirt printing company that designed the VGK-inspired shirt in early June.
Tyler Vingino, the owner, says that his dream has become a realisation.
What happened at your store when you learned that Vegas Golden Knights won Stanley Cup? Abel Garcia was KTNV anchor.
Vingino said that the team immediately called him and told him, “hey, let’s print some shirts.” And they did.
Vingino claims that he began the process as soon his team won. A local graphic designer’s design was approved by the team.
“We’ve got the world champions text on top, Vegas Golden Knights below, the knight at the center, and you can see the constellations with all of the teams we beat during the playoffs,” said he.
The printing started at 5 am on Wednesday morning.
Black shirts are placed on the machine. Print screen is set up with the design. Then, two shades of white.
“The Golden Knight, there’s the final, you know we use metallic-gold,” he said.
Vingino stated that since the Knights’ new title of champions was won, around 800 shirts were printed and brought to City National Arena. Vingino has partnered with Textisle, a local business to meet the demand.
He said: “It’s surreal. It is a dream, to be able print for the VGK. And now the Stanley Cup champions.” “They are right in our backyard, and it is amazing that anyone would not want to print for these guys.”
