Subject: Clarification on Final Claim of LTC
Reference: DOP&T F. No. 31011/12/2022-Estt.A-IV dated 29.08.2022.
Attention is invited to DOP&T OM cited under reference wherein it is explicitly mentioned that officials booking tickets to avail LTC may invariably obtain print-out of the Web Page for settlement of claim. This office receives a lot of claims that do not meet this requirement.
2. All offices and directorates are advised to give instruction to their staff that LTC Officials may obtain a print-out from the Web Page in order to guarantee the lowest fare for the slot. Then, they can submit the Web Page with the final claim of LTC. Before forwarding the final claim, all directorate/Offices can ensure compliance with the same. In the future, claims may not be considered without attaching a printout of this web page/lowest fare certificate issued to you by an authorized travel agent.
