The two organizations have worked hand in hand to develop gummies tailored to the nutrient needs of each individual’s skin, and all of which are 3D printed.
Neutrogena asks its customers to use Neutrogena’s products to accomplish this. Skin360a mobile application for skin diagnosis, first presented at CES in 2012. These gummies are also available online via SkinStacks, the dedicated platform for purchasing the new supplements.
Skin diagnostic
It’s quite simple. The idea relies on artificial intelligence and, more specifically, skin diagnosis using a scan or a questionnaire. This allows users to get a 1-month-long course of gummies with the essential ingredients to pamper their skin.
To get started, you will need to visit the website and the mobile app. Next, take a 360-degree picture of your skin. A preliminary assessment gives information about the skin’s current condition in terms of wrinkles and radiance. Next, consumers will be asked to complete a questionnaire about themselves, their beauty routines, and the pollution they experience in their area.
3D printing
Once these two steps are completed, the algorithm creates the gummies that best match the user’s skin, with no less than seven layers of ingredients specifically selected according to its specific needs: vitamins, zinc, selenium, and other nutrients designed to enhance the skin. It’s a sort of tailor-made beauty prescription! All that’s left is to do is buy the gummies that will then be 3D printed by Nourished.
