April 11, 2023 – Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions, today announced the imagePROGRAF TC-20M, a new large-format, multifunction, 4-color pigment inkjet printer supporting both roll paper and cut-sheet media. In just a few steps, educators, hotel staff, graphic designers and side hustlers can print large, vivid print materials like banners and posters. Plus, users can breathe life into smaller printed originals (such as hand drawings, diagrams and flyers) via the printer’s “enlarge copy” feature, for a variety of applications, from visual learning, to creative review, to media and advertising.

Big performance; small footprint
Its small size and compact design allow the printer to be placed on a shelf or desk. Large-format printing is possible even in tight spaces. The front of the printer can perform all print-related operations, including setting up the roll or cutting sheet media, receiving printed materials and refilling maintenance cartridges. The standard auto-sheet feeder allows you to copy and print in different sizes, including A3 or A4, on one printer. You can load both roll and cut sheets simultaneously. The printer driver will be able distinguish the source paper and choose the appropriate paper source. The optional desktop basket “BU-06” can be used to catch printed materials when used on a desk or shelf.
Print without a computer
Directly print PDF and JPEG files with the imagePROGRAF TC-20M using a USB drive – no computer needed. The printer’s panel screen displays previews of selected files, making it convenient to see what is being printed. You can also use the enlarge feature to copy multiple images onto rolls of paper, up to A1 in size.
Bang for your Buck
Users will enjoy a large-capacity, 70ml per colour, ink tank system that reduces refilling frequency. To avoid filling the ink slot incorrectly, they are color coded. Pigment ink is more durable, has a higher color stability, and resists water and UV light.
Design software is available for free
Easily create posters and flyers using the PosterArtist web application – choose from a variety of templates, and modify text and images to create an original design. A simple Excel import can be used to create variable data printing for customized batch printing. New templates were also added for a variety of applications. Be environmentally conscious
The Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool, (EPEAT), has rated it Gold.2 – this is the first Canon large-format printer to earn the rating. It consumes only 26W during operation and 1.9W in standby, and uses refillable ink bottles to help reduce waste.
