Canon Solutions America Collaborates with DigiTech and Colex to Offer Demonstrations of Integrated Print and Cut Solutions at PRINTING United Expo

MELVILLE N.Y. October 12, 2023 – To showcase high-volume rigid and roll-to-roll production capabilities, Canon Solutions America, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Canon U.S.A., Inc., will join forces with DigiTech and Colex at PRINTING United Expo 2023 from October 18-20 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Both companies will present to the trade show participants fully integrated print-and-cut solutions for board and roll media in collaboration with Canon Solutions America. DigiTech will be demonstrating the Texas LT/X2UV flatbed stationary printer in booth #C2247 at the Georgia World Congress Center. DigiTech is a company with more than 30 year’s experience in digital printing. This device has a strong reputation in the flatbed printing industry, focusing on automation and workflow software. It is also known for its fast speeds, ease of operation, and high quality.

The Texas LT/X2 flatbed printer was designed and built specifically for high-volume production environments. The Texas LT/X2 UV flatbed printer can print more than 120 boards per hour and has a semi-automatic option. It also includes an auto-unloader that can lift a printed board from a table to drop it on a conveyor feeding a Colex Digital Finishing System. It allows the product to be packaged quickly and shipped with just one person.

Canon Solutions America is also partnering with Colex, which will be at booth #B11113. Colex has been a leader in the industry by using technology and high-quality cutters. Colex is a specialist in wide-format roll and ridged-media cutting equipment used for graphic signs and displays, packaging, and point of purchase displays. Colex’s footprint will feature the Canon UVgel Print Factory which is designed to produce large format, high volume, roll-to -roll production.

UVgel Print Factory offers a high-capacity, integrated solution to produce large quantities of the same media or application. Visitors will have the opportunity to see the hardware in action, which includes a Canon Colorado Series large-format print, a jumbo roller loader and a roll rewinder. This solution features Canon’s UVgel, a unique ‘print-then-cure’ technology with instant-dry gel inks, cured with UV LED lights.
