Lawrence County residents can look forward to a special treat, as the Lawrence County Library has announced the launch of innovative mobile printing features, which allow patrons print documents and other materials directly from their computers or smartphones.
No more rushing to the local library to print your important documents. The newly launched mobile printing service allows users to print remotely, and then collect the documents at their convenience. This revolutionary feature is designed to cater to the busy lifestyles of the community and offer a hassle-free experience.
Library Director Rex Bain expressed excitement about the initiative, stating, “For years we’ve had people walk in or call asking if they could print something from their phone, or they’ve asked if they could send us something to print so they could come by and pick it up. Those requests have been picking up more and more.”
Users of the library can utilize this service by emailing their documents to the system. The system will then hold the document until the end the business day. The system will print out the documents when the patron is ready to collect it. This easy-to-use approach allows individuals to manage printing requirements easily.
The library’s latest addition is a testament to the library’s continuous efforts to adapt and thrive in an ever-evolving digital landscape and showcases its dedication to enhancing accessibility to the public.
Orders can be placed by emailing black and white documents to [email protected] and color documents to [email protected]. Black and White prints are.20 each, and color prints.75 each. Payment can be made by debit and credit card, but for orders below $5.00 you must pay in cash. Membership is encouraged but not required to access the new services.
