Creality K1 range
Creality K1 Max is a high-speed FDM 3-D printer designed for hobbyists looking to print larger models. They claim to be the fastest 3D printers on the market, with a maximum speed of 600mm/s. However, some models place more emphasis on precision and quality than speed, and cap at 50mm/s.
In order to achieve the impressive speeds, printers incorporate a G sensor in the printhead. This sensor measures the printer’s resonance frequency, and it effectively analyzes and mitigates any disruptions in the movement system even at high speed.
Both models are equipped with a ceramic heater that surrounds the hotend and melts the filament rapidly. Within just 40 seconds, the hotend can reach a temperature of up to 200℃, ensuring smooth filament flow to match the faster printing speed.
The K1 Max comes with a built-in AI camera which monitors the print process in real time and alerts users to any anomalies or errors. Also, the printers have been fully enclosed to create a stable and consistent environment with a constant ambient temperature.
