Farsoon Technologies has announced it has held a ground-breaking ceremony for its new R&D and manufacturing headquarters this week in Xiangjiang New District, close by to the current Farsoon campus. Farsoon became publicly listed at the Shanghai Stock Exchange STAR Market in April 2023.

The campus is spread over a total of 20.1 acres and has a gross floor area of 140,000 square meters. The company expects the first phase to be finished in 2024. This will feature multiple integrated infrastructures to support industrial 3D printing, including Research and Development.

“Additive manufacturing is playing an increasingly vital role in many industries. Farsoon Technologies has laid out a plan for pushing true manufacturing with plastic and metal laser powder bed fusion technology,” said Dr. Xu Xiaoshu, Founder and CEO of Farsoon Technologies. “With the completion of the new headquarter we will keep building credibility by introducing innovative industrial solutions that meet the demand of the market.”

Farsoon has announced that the first phase, which is the manufacturing of advanced materials, will be completed in January 2023. In late 2022, Farsoon introduced its multi-laser, large-format metal 3D printers, the FS621M Pro-6 and FS621M U-4.

Farsoon will also announce in May 2023 the strengthening of its strategic partnership that began in 2019. In the beginning, the collaboration agreement was signed to establish a framework in industrial 3D-printing solutions.
