Police conducted 64 raids during which they seized 440 firearms including 3D-printed guns, long guns, silencers as well other guns.
The raids were conducted in Quebec, Ontario and British Columbia as well as New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Manitoba.
Authorities say they’re increasingly concerned about untraceable ghost guns, which are assembled at home or 3D-printed without serial numbers.
In 2021, the unit that coordinates the raids, which includes officers from SQ, Montreal Police, RCMP, and Canada Border Services Agency, was created to combat gun crime.
