The compact digital colour wide format IP CW2200 plotter was designed to deliver high-quality output quickly, easily, and affordably. This next-generation printer is compact and produces CAD drawing, from detailed line drawings to vibrantly coloured renderings.
Ricoh says this new addition to its portfolio of responsive wide-format printers answers the market’s increased demand for print-only systems.
The IM CW2200 wide-format multifunctional printer complements the IM CW2200 with scanning and copying capabilities for documents up A0 in size.
Ricoh’s new solution is more than just a standard printing and scanning system. It acts as a central hub of technical documents that can be shared easily, and it helps to increase productivity.
The next-generation systems were built to align with today’s architecture, engineering, manufacturing, and construction needs, as well as print rooms and government departments.

This printer is one of the fastest on the market. It can print up to A0 at 1200x1200dpi in black and white, or full colour, at a speed of 3.8ppm.

The Ricoh IP CW2200 & IM CW2200 are equipped with several new features to meet the needs of today’s users.
The Smart Operation Panel features a colour touchscreen with intuitive functionality and fast scanning/printing at speeds of up to 106.7mm/s and 35.3mm/s, respectively.
The innovative printers also come with a new stack tray which can hold 10 sheets of A1 paper. They also have an automatic paper roll setting, which holds 175m of rolls of paper. Documents up to 33 metres in length can be printed. This eliminates the need for manual feeding of the paper.
The two systems also offer several other key advantages:
- Ricoh’s variable dot GEL-Jet Ricoh Piezo print heads and innovative GELJET pigment-based inks enable high image quality for precise detail. This produces UV- and water resistant output that dries fast for immediate indoor or outdoor use.
- The permanent print heads reduce the total cost of ownership by reducing the number of replacements.
- Flexible production for increased efficiency powered by Ricoh’s open architecture USB SD Card workflow. Data can be entered from various sources, such as a USB drive, web tool or standard printer driver.
