There are four video modes available
There are four time-lapse video options available on the Beagle Camera to suit different needs. Clean mode is designed for FDM 3D printers. It captures an image after each layer has been completed. To get a clear view of the part, send a command to move a hot end out of frame.
Normal mode also captures images after each layer. However, it does not send out the hot end of the frame. This mode can also be used for FDM 3D printers.
The Timer time-lapse video mode captures images at predetermined intervals and plays them back to give the illusion that time is passing quickly. This mode is suitable for many applications beyond 3D printing. These include documenting assembly processes, monitoring flower growth, among others.
The Beagle is also compatible with the resin and LCD-based systems with its “UV Mode”. This mode is specifically made for resin printing. When the UV sensor is activated, it captures images. The result is a time-lapse video showing the print emerge from the vat. To use this feature, an additional product – a UV sensor – is required.
